TVDE course price: online training and free study resources

There is no single course price

Ask the training organisation for a written quotation. Check the total price and whether materials, practical training, assessment and retakes are included. An advertised starting price may leave out important costs.

Separate the app subscription, recognised training price and administrative certification fees. Keep them as different budget items. This article is not a commercial price list and does not promise a free course.

What to check in an online course

IMT describes initial training as including theory and practice. The word online alone does not prove that the entire route can be completed remotely or that the organisation is recognised.

Ask how attendance, sessions, practical training and assessment work. Confirm when physical presence is required and how successful completion is verified. Check the current recognised-provider list before enrolling.

Initial training and renewal differ

Tell the provider whether you need your first certificate or a renewal. Compare quotations for the correct route; a shorter continuing-training course is not automatically suitable for a first application.

The published programme includes communication, legal driving rules, driving techniques, activity regulation, emergencies and first aid. A bank of practice questions does not automatically cover the required training and practical component.

Using free study resources

Public guides and independent exercises can help with topics and vocabulary. A free resource does not become recognised training or issue CMTVDE simply because its name includes TVDE.

Use official materials as your foundation and record where you need support. Check current plans, features and prices inside TVDE Ready. These free website guides do not mean every app feature is free.

Comparing courses in Gaia or another city

For courses in Gaia, Lisbon or Porto, compare the provider, practical-session location and dates rather than only the city in an advert. Verify current recognition and availability separately.

Ask in writing about missed sessions, retakes and support for Portuguese comprehension. Clear answers are more useful than promises of easy approval.
