The format published by the IMT
The IMT describes the final assessment as a test covering the training content, with 30 questions and at least 27 correct answers required to pass. It is conducted by the IMT or an authorised examination centre. Confirm arrangements for your own assessment with the responsible provider.
An app simulation is a learning exercise. It does not book your official exam, replace the assessment or promise that the same questions will appear.

Review topics before repeating full tests
Start with the materials from your training course. For each topic, write one short explanation in your own words. If you cannot explain it without looking, return to the material before another full simulation.
Build a vocabulary list from actual questions. Note the complete sentence, the unfamiliar expression and what it means in context. A translated word alone may not explain what the question is asking.
Use a repeatable study cycle
Keep each session focused on a clear task. An incorrect answer should produce a specific next action, such as reviewing a topic or practising a Portuguese expression.
- Review one topic from the course.
- Answer a small set of questions without help.
- Explain why the correct option fits the situation.
- Record whether a mistake came from content, language or reading.
- Try the topic again in a later session.
Use simulations as a check
TVDE Ready combines European Portuguese lessons with quizzes and a timed 30-question simulation. Compare sessions taken under similar conditions and watch for recurring errors. Readiness depends on understanding across topics, not one high score or memorising the position of an option.
Before exam day, confirm the time, location and documents directly with the examination provider. Keep study preparation separate from those administrative arrangements.

Read the question before guessing
Read once to identify the topic, then again for conditions. Words such as only, except, before and after can change the answer. Form a short answer before examining the choices, then find the choice matching your reasoning.
When two answers look correct, compare what each adds or omits. Do not choose only because it contains a familiar course word. Ask which answer applies to the exact person, vehicle and situation described.

Turn review into the next session
A useful note records the topic, an unfamiliar expression, a missed condition and the next action. For language confusion, practise a full sentence. For an unknown subject, return to your training materials. Keep your study notes rather than personal information about other people.
At the next session, explain the rule without help before another simulation. Different wording may test the same principle. Confirm official assessment organisation and permitted materials with the responsible provider; app features do not establish those details.

How do I book the assessment and obtain the CMTVDE?
Start with an IMT-recognised training provider and confirm how your assessment is arranged. Passing the assessment and requesting the certificate are separate steps. The IMT publishes the current application procedure; TVDE Ready does not make bookings or issue certificates.
