TVDE operator licence: Modelo 30, CAE and documents
The company organising transport and the person driving have different requirements. Identify that distinction before applying for a TVDE licence.
Who applies for an operator licence?
IMT presents operator licensing as a process for companies meeting the access and operating conditions. A personal driver certificate is not this licence and does not itself create an operator company.
Decide whether you want to drive for an existing operator or organise the activity of a company. CMTVDE belongs to the driver route; company licensing must be handled separately.
What Modelo 30 is for
IMT operator guidance refers to Modelo 30 and electronic submission with supporting documents. Obtain the form through the official website and check the selected licence type.
Review the company name, contacts, responsible officers and company documents. This operator form is not registration for the driver exam. Confirm the current submission service and instructions before sending an application.
Driver CAE searches and company classification
For the operator process, IMT guidance identifies CAE-Rev.4 49330 and a company purpose compatible with on-demand passenger transport in a vehicle with a driver. That reference concerns the operator company described by the guidance.
Searching CAE motorista TVDE does not establish an individual tax classification. Explain your actual activity and working arrangement to the tax authority or accountant. Do not automatically apply the company code to every driver.
Documents, fees and confirmation
The official list includes commercial-registration and suitability information for responsible officers, supplied as documents or access codes as applicable. Prepare a checklist and check any additional requirements for the current application.
The consulted IMT page publishes a €200 operator issuance and revalidation fee. This is an operator administrative fee, not a course price or personal driver-certificate fee. Confirm the amount in the application and verify the actual decision.
When source dates differ
A 2026 legal amendment and older administrative guidance may differ on periods or validity. Consult current legislation and ask IMT which procedure applies instead of choosing the most convenient period.
